1993 Rover Mini 1275cc Carburettor - Restored, Rust Free and a Genuine 68,000 Miles on her Highly Sought After Matching Numbers Engine
Restored to a rust free condition, this is a beautiful example of a classic Mini. Upgraded with the Cooper Sportspack Wide Arches, 13 inch Cooper Sportspack Alloy Wheels and spotlights, she looks iconic, replicating the late Cooper Sportspack.
Retaining her original 1275cc 53bhp matching numbers engine which has (with her) covered a genuine 68,000 miles, an engine highly sought after for being the last of the high power carburettor engines, she is beautiful to drive. Such engines are sought after for their power, tuning capability and the general nostalgia which comes with classic carburettor technology. Being a servo assisted braking model she also stops relatively quickly, in comparison to other Mini’s.
Being supplied fully serviced, supplied with 12 months MOT with no advisories and supplied professionally tuned to optimise her performance, she is ready to enjoy. There are so many new parts to list which include but are not not limited to new mechanical parts such as brand new premium Yokohama tyres (£400), new radiator, new alternator, new petrol tank etc. etc. and aesthetic parts such as brand new chromework, spotlights (new but not wired in) and a brand new walnut dash, wood and chrome steering wheel and headlining etc. etc.
Underneath she has a new subframe, proper vented sills and floors so that you can have piece of mind. Such has been undersealed to protect her from further rust.
Optional extras include opening rear windows and rear seatbelts.
Condition Report
She is in excellent condition throughout. Her shell is rust free, her paintwork gleams. Her engine is beautiful and she drives perfectly. Inside she is in good condition. However, it is important to note that Mini's are classic cars opposed to brand new cars, classic cars will have wear and tear on all parts opposed to being built to a new standard and accordingly they will require ongoing maintenance and we cannot be held liable for any ongoing maintenance after the time of the sale.
