The ultimate specification, the most powerful and the most reliable, the safest and most useable, the highest quality and most expensive factory production model. These cost 60% more than the model previous (1995 vs 1996) and were far evolved, you didn't have to worry about breaking down, you could feel safe driving them. Parents generally focus on this model for its air bag and side impact bars. 
 
This example has recently had a bodily restoration with new British Motor Heritage specification panel-work and chrome-work, so that you do not have to worry about rust. She has the correct vented sills, fiercely sollid floors and subframes.
 
Two thousand miles previoiusly, her gearbox was rebuilt by Mini Technique, so that you do not have to worry about the common gearbox wear. 
 
Twenty thousand miles previously, her engine was rebuilt to a fast-road specification, giving you more power. 
 
She is supplied fully checked over by ourselves (classic Mini Specialists) with 12 months MOT and no advisories, comprehensively serviced to include her engine and gearbox, brakes and cooling system. Her front braking system is brand new, AP callipers with drilled and vented discs. She is HPI clear and comes with an XL history folder covering her life, a very much cherished example. 
 
Inside she has the sought-after, hugely expensive, factory additional extra full black leather interior, facing a brand-new burr-walnut dashboard with the extra gauges. None of the usual water-ingress with new window seals, none of the usual windscreen marks following a new windscreen.
 
All round a beautiful example, it's like driving a go-kart on steroids, that extraordinary power to weight ratio, almost sat on the floor, the sounds and smells of sixties motoring, mastering the iconic Monte Carlo rally-winning classic Mini handling, terrific and/or terrifying.
