1998 Rover Mini Paul Smith (Genuine, 1 of 300) with a Genuine 45,000 MIles - One of the Most Sought After Collectors Editions
Being so special and highly specced, only 300 Paul Smith Ltd Edition’s were made for the UK. This is a superbly presented genuine low mileage example of the most sought after Mini designed in partnership with the British Designer Sir Paul Smith. Originally designed as part of the “Great British Mini’s” alongside David Bowie’s chrome plated Mini and Kate Moss’s Spider Web Mini, the Paul Smith was one of the most luxurious Mini’s ever produced.
Sir Paul Smith designed what is one of the most special and luxurious Mini’s. The Paul Smith Mini featured unique Paul Smith Blue paint, a 24-carat gold-finished bonnet badge and special GB badges alongside a custom funky blue dash and a black leather interior (arguably the highest quality produced by Mini). Lots of tiny details were added including custom Paul Smith gauges, branding, a denim jack bag and a funky green glovebox, petrol tank, rocker cover and HT leads. The unique colour reportedly gained its name "Paul Smith Blue" when in response to a Rover Executive’s question of what colour should his Mini be Sir Paul Smith ripped off part of his shirt and said “This colour”.

Condition
She drives beautifully, has been professionally tuned to optimise her performance and will be supplied with 12 months MOT with no advisories, ready to enjoy. Her interior is a lovely, comfortable and clean place to be, with minimal wear. Underneath she is excellent (please see the pictures) with the proper vented cills and although these cills have some of the usual Mini previous welds, those welds are solid. Her bodywork is excellent. If we were to be critical we would point out that her windscreen has some slight clouding around the edge and if such bothered you it would cost around £150 to purchase a new windscreen and refit. Her drivers door has a few teeny tiny bubbles at the bottom which likely won’t concern you.
