Expertly Restored (Heritage Panels Only) 1998 Rover Mini Cooper Sportspack 1.3 MPI - Beautiful Throughout with Minimal Signs of Age
Being expertly restored by a Mclaren F1 Racing Engineer using only Heritage Panels, this is a beautifully restored example of what is today one of the most sought after production models of classic Mini (The Rover Mini Cooper Sportspack 1.3 MPI 62bhp). This example is finished to the highest standard in the most sought after colour combination of Tahiti Metallic Blue & Silver. Owned for nine years by a lady, unfortunately she now needs to find a new home. The previous four keepers appear to have saved every single piece of documentation. Driving beautifully, we drove her 300 miles on an excellent road trip. She is supplied in mechanically perfect condition with a new clutch, with a recent MOT. We don?t think you would find a better example anywhere near the price bracket, but to be picky her leather and burr wood interior is unrestoreda and there is a tear in her drivers seat (usual place).

Why Purchase a Final Edition Cooper 1996-2000 (Opposed to an Earlier Mini)
Lots of people ask us why the final edition Mini?s (1996-2000) are so sort after. The final edition Mini?s are safer, greener, more reliable, comfier, more secure, less noisy and usually more powerful than most earlier Mini?s. Safer because they have safety crash door bars, air bags and SRS unlike earlier Mini?s. Greener because they have catalytic converters unlike earlier Mini?s. More reliable because they don?t use a distributor or a carburettor like earlier Mini?s and they have upgraded alternators also. Comfier because the whole interior evolved beautifully with burr wood features, nicely constructed seats and alloy fixings. More secure as they have internal bonnet pulls and immobilsers, unlike earlier Mini?s. Less noisy due to revised mechanical positioning, new sound deadening and different gearbox ratios, unlike earlier Mini?s. More powerful generally too as they are fitted with 62bhp 1.3 units as standard.

1998 Rover Mini Cooper Sportspack (1.3 MPI)

  • We guarantee that your Mini will be mechanically perfect at the time of the sale. Mechanically perfect means that your Mini will be roadworthy with a recent MOT, that everything on your Mini will work correctly and that your Mini will be ready to enjoy.

However, it is important to note that Mini's are classic cars opposed to brand new cars, classic cars will have wear and tear on all parts opposed to being built to a new standard and accordingly they  will require ongoing maintenance and we cannot be held liable for any ongoing maintenance after the time of the sale. That being said, we have a dedicated phone line to assist you in maintaining your Mini and sourcing replacement parts.
