Safer because they have safety crash door bars, air bags and SRS unlike earlier Mini’s. Greener because they have catalytic converters unlike earlier Mini’s. More reliable because they don’t use a distributor or a carburettor like earlier Mini’s and they have upgraded alternators also. Comfier because the whole interior evolved beautifully with burr wood features, nicely constructed seats and alloy fixings.
