1996 Rover Mini 1275cc SPI - Beautiful Condition, Very Original & a Genuine 47,000 Miles with a Reconditioned Gearbox
 
This is an excellent, well maintained and genuine low mileage (47,000 miles) example of the more powerful and reliable Rover Mini 1275cc SPI (fuel injection) registered on the 18th of January 1996 to a Mr A F Brown by Wrynhams of Salisbury. She is in beautiful, pretty much factory standard condition with just a handful of tasteful upgrades that Mini enthusiasts will appreciate. She is ready to enjoy, supplied with 12 months MOT, has no advisories and is fully serviced as well as having a recently reconditioned gearbox (like new) and is ready to enjoy. We will expand upon each point in turn.

1. Low Mileage Example

Having covered a genuine 47,000 miles and having had her gearbox reconditioned just 3000 miles ago, she drives very much like a new Mini.

2. Terrific Fun

Producing 53bhp BHP as standard, having that rally winning Mini handling and weighing just 600kg, she is terrific fun to drive.

3. More Power, Reliability and Safety (Factory Standard)

Being a more modern 1275cc SPI fuel injected engine, you have more power and reliability. More power because she has 30% more power than the 1000cc and 6% more than the carburettor 1275cc. More reliability because the old fashioned Carburettor and manual Choke technology is replaced with modern Fuel Injection technology and an automatic Choke.

4. More Effective Braking & Safety (Factory Standard)

Having the more modern servo assisted brakes, she has more stopping power making her safer.

5. Tastefully Upgraded (Post Factory)

Upgrading her with a brand new Fletcher Sports Exhaust and K&N air filter, she has a little more performance and sounds fantastic. Having new slightly wider Mini-lites with nearly new Falken tyres she has a better stance and more grip. Otherwise she is factory standard with factory rear seatbelts and opening rear windows (not fitted to all Mini’s).

6. Solid

Being a solid car throughout with the correct vented sills, she is a rare find.

7. Ready to Enjoy
 
Being supplied with 12 months MOT and no advisories, she is ready to enjoy. Having been fully serviced with the correct Millers oil, new NGK spark plugs and new silicone HT leads, you have nothing to worry about.

8. History

Being originally supplied to a Mr A F Brown by Wrynams of Salisbury on the 18th of January 1996, she has since been well maintained. Maintenance includes 11 stamps in her service book up to 43,611 (very rare to have many with a Mini), one paper receipt for service materials at 47,000 miles and another receipt service with us.
