1993 Rover Mini 1275cc Carburettor (Performance Spec) - Genuine Low Mileage (43k) Example in Excellent Condition
Having owned this Mini for 18 years, her previous keeper Colin has fully rebuilt her ready for her new owner. The rebuild included her original factory fitted matching numbers 1275cc carburettor engine being fully rebuilt to a performance specifcation including a Kent 266 Cam and Duplex Timing Gears. Such engine is one of the most sought after engines for its raw power and tuning ability. Other upgrades include new Hi-lo's all round and Kayaba Gas Shocks as well as Polymounts, she has wider chrome alloy wheels and new tyres all round. She is the servo brakes model, which means more effective braking. This is a very low mileage example (43,000 miles) in excellent condition throughout. She is supplied professionally set-up and tuned to optimise her performance and 12 months MOT with no advisories, ready to enjoy.
Being first registered on the 7th of October 1993, she was supplied by Inverclyde Rover Dealership of Greenock as a Motability Vehicle for a local lady Mrs White. Mrs White would cover just 7500 miles throughout her three year Motability lease. At the end of the Motability lease she was supplied again by Inverness Rover on the 12th of October 1996 to another local lady Mrs Pauline of Greenock for £3677.00. Mrs Pauline would continue to use Inverness Rover for Maintenance and would cover just 1800 more miles in her two years of ownership. On the 29th of October 1998 she set off to Glasgow and was owned by a much more active Mr Martin Devey and being more active Martin covered 30,000 miles in those five years! However, it wasn't until 2003 that she would then go to her forever home when another local man Mr Colin Mcgeachy purchased her and Colin has owned her ever since, MOT-ing her most years but only driving her a few hundred miles per year (4500 miles in 18 years). Colin has recenty restored her fully (and beautifully) and she is ready for her new home as Colin can no longer use her. She is also HPI clear and has not been involved in any accidents.

Condition Notes
She is excellent throughout, but is still a classic car and will have some signs of age. Her body is excellent, but there are a small amount of teeny tiny bubbles on a small area of her drivers door (please see the extra pictures).

1993 Rover Mini 1275cc Carburettor (50bhp)

  • We guarantee that your Mini will be mechanically perfect at the time of the sale. Mechanically perfect means that your Mini will be roadworthy with a recent MOT, that everything on your Mini will work correctly and that your Mini will be ready to enjoy.

However, it is important to note that Mini's are classic cars opposed to brand new cars, classic cars will have wear and tear on all parts opposed to being built to a new standard and accordingly they  will require ongoing maintenance and we cannot be held liable for any ongoing maintenance after the time of the sale. That being said, we have a dedicated phone line to assist you in maintaining your Mini and sourcing replacement parts.
