1970 Austin Mini Mk3 1380cc (Very Fast) - Very Nice Condition, 1380cc and Owned 19 Years

Being first registered on the 8th of September 1970, this is a very rare and early example of an Austin Mini MK3. Being reportedly bored out to 1380cc with a fast cam, she is incredibly fast and driving her is a very raw experience. Having owned her 19 years, her previous keeper obviously cherished her and put her into the condition she is today. Condition wise her shell is very nice, she's recently been ceramically coated and stage three polished and she's ready to enjoy with 12 months MOT and having been professionally set-up to optimise her performance. MOT wise, being so early she she is tax and MOT exempt which would save you money (although we have MOT'd her for your peace of mind.

It should be noted that she has been re-shelled during a restoration like many early Mini's but uses a late seventies shell opposed to a less period later shell. Such restoration likely followed a minor category D accident in 1999 at which point value wise anything would have written her off. Her 1380cc engine was fitted by the previous keeper and we don't have the paperwork (albeit she is very fast, very raw, exactly how a 1380cc drives).

Condition Report

This Mini is awesome. I think that if you viewed it then you would think it is awesome too. However, my job is to be picky and so here’s some pickiness. Body wise, she has an excellent solid shell, albeit with some very minor signs of age as you would expect. Interior, it's all very sixties groovy with the sixties twin gauge central speedometer, sixties seats and a sixties headlining which you could chalk paint to new if you wanted to make her mint. Accessories wise, if you wanted to make her mint then you could refurb some small marks on her 10" Minator wheels and her wheel arch paint has some bobbles in it.
