1975 Morris Mini 1000 in Vermillion Orange - Lovely Little Mini, 50 Years Old Nearly!

This is a very early 1975 Morris Mini 1000cc, finished in the very rare and iconic seventies Vermillion Orange. She’s a lovely little car and whilst she’s getting ready to celebrate her fiftieth birthday soon, she’s still shooting around, she did the London to Brighton last year and she’s looking for a new family to enjoy her. We’ll introduce you to her below and then link you to various extra content, photographs and videos of her.

1. Free Tax, MOT Exempt & Free ULEZ

Being a very early example, she has free road tax, she is MOT exempt and she is free to drive within most clean air zones (notably ULEZ) without charge or quibble, saving you time and money.

2. Ready to Enjoy

Supplied with 12 months MOT, she has had a brake service, engine service and a carburettor service, giving you peace of mind.

3. Professionally Tuned

Having been professionally tuned, her performance has been optimised.

4. Beautiful Engine

Having the most beautiful 1000cc engine (99H/791,1974< with dished pistons), she accelerates with great classical spirit. Having that iconic rally winning classic Mini handling, she is terrific and /or terrifying fun.

5. Early Features

Being such an early Mini she has seats reminiscent of your nan’s old sofa, that central speedometer that creates a classical, less centralised and more panoramic driving experience and the early prefix registration and aluminium black and silver number plates as well as Cooper S style wheels.

6. It’s Her Big 50th Birthday Soon!

Approaching her big fiftieth birthday bash, is she still a spring chicken? Following that analogy she’s more of an old mother hen, she’s a trusty survivor Mini that has been loved and cherished by many a family, she’s solid and dependable throughout and underneath and raring to go on new adventures, albeit carrying some marks on her headlining from countless people climbing in and out of her rear seats. Paintwork wise, you may feel that she’s too old to stop shows, but she is quaint and respectable throughout, only on her boot lid does she bear marks and paint from previous escapades, stickers and bling, several decades forgotten. Loving owners over the decades have restored her possibly several times, they have fitted a new (possibly low mileage, possibly performance, definitely lovely and very quick) mid seventies engine and restored her using a similar late eighties maybe shell, many decades ago.

6. HPI Clear

She is HPI clear with no evidence of previous accidents or finance.

Concluding, she’s a lovely early Mini in one of the rarest and most iconic colours and being so early, she is MOT and Tax and ULEZ exempt. She’s looking for a new family to enjoy her. In preparation for such we have carried out an MOT, brake service, engine service and had her professionally tuned :). Her engine is beautiful and her bodywork is solid.
