Upgraded to the sought after 1275cc 51bhp carburettor engine, she matches power (51bhp, 30% higher than the standard 1000cc) with tuning capability and that classical sound and feel (partially lost with later fuel injection models).

Having been professionally tuned, her power has been optimised. Upgraded to electronic ignition, she’s more reliable.

A. Exterior
Combining the classical 60’s Cooper S features with the 90’s Cooper Sportspack stance and wide body, she looks awesome.
60’s Cooper S features include; the wavy grill, dummy twin petrol tanks, rear boot mounted Lucas spotlight and smaller Mk2 (1969-70) rear lights as well as Cooper badges, flappy sixties rear number plate proudly mounted with the private number plate B83 ANK (Italian Job reference) which is included.
90’s Cooper Sportspack style features include wide arches wrapped around new thirteen inch alleycats wheels with four chrome spot lamps (not currently wired up).
B. Interior
Sourcing some very sought after parts, she has half leather lightening bolt Mini 30th Anniversary Seats between union jack door cards and finished with the burr wood dash which incorporates not just the special Cooper triple green gauge, but also three extra central gauges.
5. Condition
Having been restored several years ago she is an excellent example for her year, that being said like any classic she has patina all round. She is a solid car with minimal signs of corrosion.
6. Soon to be Tax, MOT & ULEZ Exempt
Being first registered on Saturday the 13th of April 1985, she is an early example which will within three years gain road tax free status, mot exemption and ULEZ free status.
