A Beautiful Example of a 1990 Rover Mini 1000cc Manual
This is a lovely example of a classically carburettor fuelled classic Mini finished in the rare and eclectic Surf Blue x Diamond white colour combination. She has all the sought after features including the Sportspack (wide arches), and the Rover Heritage Design Pack designed in tribute and homage to the early sixties iconic Cooper S rally winning Mini's. That includes the Mk1 wavy grill and chrome "Moustache", the four chrome spotlights, bumper overriders and bars, plus the Lucas chrome rear mounted rally reverse light, plus brand new thirteen inch deep dish wheels and tyres to complete the look.
This is a Mini from my own personal collection. Prior to my ownership, she had been hidden away for over 20 years and accordingly has covered but 51,000 miles from new, making her a lovely low mileage example.
She is terrific to drive, combining that classical sports exhaust roar with the Mini’s go kart like driving style and iconic rally winning handling. Being ready to enjoy, she’s supplied with 12 months MOT, her brakes have been fully serviced, as has her engine (Millers Classic Mini Oil, Silicone Upgraded HT Leads and NGK Spark Plugs) and her carburettor has been professionally serviced and tuned to optimise her performance. She is HPI clear with no previous accidents or finance, stolen markers etc. so you don’t have to worry.
Inside she combines a brand new Burrwood dash with extra gauges and a brand new headlining with the very seventies seats, in a style reminiscent of my granny’s settee, Being a very rare Racing Flame ltd Edition, she is one of just 116 remaining. Originally she would have been British Racing Green with the “Racing” logo proudly stickered.
She's in her mid thirties and she's not brand new, but she remains in very good relative condition and attracts a lot of admirers.
